The Living Retail Lab™ is a HighStreet Collective initiative in Atlanta, GA. It’s the brainchild of HighStreet co-founder, Laura Davis-Taylor, who has been working on bringing this idea to fruition since 2014. Opened in March of 2019, the lab is actively underway at the 20,000 square foot Citizen Supply inside Ponce City Market in Atlanta, GA.

“One thing the retail industry has been begging for, but unable to supply, are real-world innovation case studies with real numbers,” says Davis-Taylor. “Our project will showcase different retail technologies in a real environment with real shoppers—with a sharp focus on HighStreet’s CX design and solutions that can be successfully utilized today. We will document everything from strategy to solution to agile adjustments and report real results.”

The lab gives HighStreet a runway to create in-store experiences that define industry best practices. It gives Citizen Supply an opportunity to install free technology to help grow the business. It gives Jamestown a platform for innovation. It gives sponsor technologies the opportunity to gain real-world case studies + proof points. And it gives all parties involved a place on the retail stage with PR, videos and published articles.
